About the firm
Nine people, four vans, and a yard we have been in since 2011.
We maintain about sixty sites within a thirty-mile radius and build maybe eight gardens a year. That ratio is deliberate.
Bramleigh started as one man with a trailer doing hedges on a housing estate. The estate is still on the round, which is either sentimental or good business depending on who you ask.
Maintenance is the spine of the business. It is unglamorous, it pays the wages every month rather than every quarter, and it means the same two people arrive at your gate on the same day for years at a time. Construction work is what we do with the rest of the year, and we only take on what we can finish before the ground turns.
We do not subcontract the work you booked us for. If a job needs a tree surgeon with a licence we do not hold, we will tell you that and give you two names, and we will not add anything to their bill.
Everything green that leaves a site is composted at the yard and goes back out as mulch. It is not a policy so much as the cheapest way to do it.
