Quotes

A quote is valid for thirty days and is based on what we could see. If something is found underneath — a slab, a stump, a drain — we will stop, tell you what it changes, and wait for you to say yes.

Access and water

We need to get a wheelbarrow to the working area and an outside tap within reasonable reach. If we cannot, tell us at the quote stage rather than on the morning.

Weather

Maintenance visits go ahead in most weather. We will not mow a saturated lawn or work at height in wind, and a missed visit is moved rather than dropped.

Payment

Maintenance is invoiced monthly in arrears. Construction is staged: a deposit for materials, a payment at the halfway point, and the balance on completion.

Plants

Plants are living things. We will replace anything that fails in the first season through no fault of yours, once. After that it is watering, and watering is yours.

Cancelling

Either of us can end a maintenance agreement with a month’s notice, in writing, for any reason.
